About Southampton Shopmobility
WE have MOVED!
After 25 glorious years at (Castles Way) it has been decided we need to move on to pastures new!
Shopmobility has moved to its new location
in West Quay.
We opened on
7th November 2023

All memberships will continue, and scooter charges will stay the same,
however, we are unable to provide free car parking.

We are still operating a social distancing to protect our staff and customers, they are as follows:
- Customers are NOT allowed to use our toilet.
- Cash only - Correct money.
- Customers mobility equipment can be left at shopmobility during hire.
- The staff at Shopmobility will be maintaining a strict cleaning routines on all the equipment and areas.
The Shopmobility service provides a DAILY HIRE service of manual and electric wheelchairs and mobility scooters to people with limited mobility. Enabling them to access the city centre and shop independently. The Shopmobility equipment includes a range of different mobility scooters (3 and 4 wheel), powerchairs and manual wheelchairs to suit individual needs.
Southampton City Shopmobility is situated in the heart of Southampton City Centre, in West Quay Shopping Centre, Podium Car Park level O.

All incoming transactions are cash only
We offer a membership scheme, which entitles members to a discounted hire rate. Membership is £12 for a year.

Please note, first time users of our services will need to bring two forms of ID one with a proof of address (Utility bill, Hospital Letter ETC), and one with a Photo ID. (driving licence, passport etc). Please contact us if providing identification is an issue.
