This month we had two main topics, firstly the Green City Charter, and secondly a session exploring the current economic outlook and prospects from the Bank of England.

11.40 Marlands Centre space - Chris Papageorgiou, Project Golden
12.00 Information share
12.15 Network lunch (bring your own!)
Our monthly First Friday Forum enables groups with different interests to come together and explore local issues, with a view to collaborations.
Agendas are varied, and themes have included of Welfare Reform, Health Inequalities, the Integration of Health and Social Care, the reform of Southampton City Council grants, and Arts, Culture and Heritage. The Friday Forum, alongside our network of local organisations, means SVS is well placed to provide a representative sector voice into a number of the city’s Strategic Partnerships. This ensures decision makers are hearing the sector’s views, concerns and innovative solutions as they form local plans.
Our Friday Forum meetings occur on the 1st Friday of every month, from 9:30am-12.15pm at Southampton Voluntary Services, Kingsland Square, St Mary's, Southampton, SO14 1NW
