The LSCB has recently reviewed and updated its Safeguarding Level 3 training. This is now offered in two one day sessions and delegates only need to attend one of these to attain Safeguarding Level 3. Each day covers different subjects so you can choose the day that is most suitable for you. The new courses are designed in partnership with In Trac and give you opportunity to learn free of charge (funded by the LSCB) in a multi- agency environment.

Who should attend?

Professionals from all agencies who contribute to child protection enquiries, those who work with families experiencing complex issues, and/or anyone who has attended a Level 2/3 safeguarding course or has equivalent experience (please check with your manager if unsure).

Which course day is right for me?

Take a look at the subjects covered on each day and decide which is most relevant to you. Speak to your manager if unsure, or you can attend both days. Also consider whether in the last two years you have already attended some Level 3 training, either from the LSCB or your own agency. If so, one of the Refresher courses listed overleaf may be more suitable for you.
