UK Youth, along with the Charities Aid Foundation and The Access Foundation, are leading a piece of research exploring the opportunity of social investment, more specifically loan finance, within the youth sector, with the key aim of supporting social entrepreneurial activity to develop sustainable income streams for youth provisions.
A key part of this research is a series of roundtable discussions in order to better understand any knowledge and skills gaps, explore the potential for a sector specific fund (which would most probably have a grant element attached), and the benefit that it may bring to the sector.
This roundtable will be an informative process, in which you will find out more about social investment, hear some case studies, and better understand the risks and opportunities it could bring, this vital discussion, which will be held at
SVS Voluntary Action Centre, Kingsland Square, St Marys Street, Southampton, SO14 1NW,
10th October, 2pm – 4pm.
You can find our more and book your ticket here, places are limited though so please do book your space as soon as possible. If you would like any further information please don’t hesitate to get in touch with Matt Lent at UK Youth (email@example.com).
