Youth Worker – School Transitions
Transitioning from primary to secondary school is a particularly significant change for children. Understandably some children struggle with this transition, which has a knock-on effect to all aspects of their lives and can have a negative impact on their personal and social development.
No Limits have a new position available for a transitions worker to work in partnership with Youth Options to target support to pupils most at risk.
The transition worker will support year 6s and 7s to find solutions or strategies to manage their feelings positively. By helping children with this transition, the Transitions Worker will prepare them for many other changes and challenges they may face in life. The partnership aims to help children build resilience through online and face to face workshops.
Further to this our partners Youth Options will be delivering outdoor education programmes.
No Limits is committed to making a difference to the lives of the children and young people we work with, and as such you must show a willingness to demonstrate commitment to the values and behaviours which flow from the No Limits ethos. Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people is paramount.
We welcome applications from candidates with lived experience and from diverse backgrounds.
