Vacancy – SOLC project co-ordinator

Southampton Voluntary Services, SO: Let’s Connect Project Co-ordinator

 18.5 hours / week

£28k per annum (pro-rata)

The SO: Let’s Connect project supports people in Southampton to get online by providing a digital device, internet access and volunteer support as appropriate. The pilot was set up during the pandemic by a group of committed and passionate voluntary and social enterprise organisations, with a range of skills, who saw the impact of digital exclusion on Southampton people.

Following a successful pilot and funding being secured, the lead organisation Southampton Voluntary Services is now seeking a Project Co-ordinator to take SO: Let’s Connect into its next phase.

Digital inclusion enables people to maintain independence, access services and activities, find information, and connect with others. The pandemic has highlighted the importance of digital inclusion and shone a light on the effects of digital inequality.

Are you the person we are looking for to co-ordinate this innovative project and ensure that it continues to provide this important service? If you are an effective and collaborative project co-ordinator who is passionate about delivering quality services that make a real difference to people’s lives, we’d love to hear from you.
