Suicide Prevention Innovation Grant Fund

Suicide Prevention Innovation Grant Fund

Deadline: 14 September 2020 at midnight

The Hampshire and Isle of Wight (Hampshire and IoW) Sustainability and Transformation Partnership (STP) has developed a Suicide Prevention Programme and, as a result, established a Suicide Prevention Innovation Fund to seed-fund innovative local projects.

These projects will be embedded in communities and will be responsive to local needs as expressed by service users, people with lived experience and ‘hard to reach’ groups.

Small unfunded, volunteer-led community groups, social enterprises and religious groups can apply for a grant of up to £10,000.

The purpose of the Innovation Fund is to support innovative, community-based initiatives that explicitly address needs around self-harm and suicide prevention. Projects should not seek to replicate statutory services; instead, applications should address how the proposed project will better engage citizens in services.

Grants of up to £10,000 are available and bids will reflect national and local priorities for the Fund, and the principles which guide the work of the Suicide Prevention Programme.
