Sexual Crime Therapeutic Services Expression of Interest

Support services for victims of sexual abuse, assault, rape and violence are currently commissioned though a mix of local and national funding. Following a competition for funding, the Police and Crime Commissioner for Hampshire was one of five successful areas to receive three years funding from the Ministry of Justice to locally commission sexual crime services. Working with local partners and providers the Commissioner is looking to commission a sexual crime therapeutic service which will include counselling and will sit alongside other commissioned services such as the Victim Care Service and Frankie Worker Services ensuring support for victims of sexual trauma in Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Southampton.

The service shall commence 1st July 2019 until 31st March 2021 subject to satisfactory ongoing performance. There is a possibility that this may be extended until 31st March 2022. Applications are being invited from today until Friday 26 April 2019 at 12:00.
