Safer Communities Grant Fund 2019/20

The Police and Crime Commissioner for Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Southampton is pleased to annouce that is about to launch a new funding round for 2019/20. He will be inviting organisations to bid for funding for new, innovative and exciting approaches, as well projects and services that have been proven to work. Funding will run for one year from 1 April 2019 to 31 March 2020 and will invest in projects that support victims or prevent offending, up to a maximum of £50,000 per project. The grants round will open from 8th October 2019 and run until Thursday 8 November at 12:00.

 

Please find attached the ‘Guide for Applying for Funding’ document. This gives clear guidance on how to complete your application form and a steer on the areas that the Commissioner is keen to fund based on the projects he is already funding. Please ensure you read this before starting your application. The Police and Crime Commissioner is planning to hold a second funding round next year for investment of up to £15,000 per project. Funding will also run for one year from 1 October 2019 to 30 September 2020. Further information on this grants round will be released next year and the grants round will likely open in April or May 2019.
