Safeguarding Leads ‘Drop Ins’ – MASH – DSL drop in sessions 2019/2020

These sessions will be organised by Jacqui Schofield from the MASH team in Southampton City Council alongside Danielle Rutherford, Lead for DSLs on the first Tuesday of every month between 4 and 6pm, beginning Tuesday 3rd September 2019 at the Civic Centre.

The sessions will create an opportunity for safeguarding leads from a range of agencies to drop in and discuss ongoing issues as well as some time for reflection in a safe, confidential environment.

This will also be a time for looking at how social care and partners continue to work together and improve working practices as well as relationships. This invitation extends to all agencies who work with children and is also an opportunity for new employees to gain an understanding of how the MASH and social care work to safeguard children.

We hope that this time will be useful and supportive for all practitioners involved, but will only continue if it is well attended and proves useful.
