NYA Launches New Bursary Fund

We have recently announced a new bursary fund as part of a national initiative to open up career pathways in youth work. The fund covers accredited level 2 and level 3 qualifications in youth work. The aim of the fund is to widen access and provide free training places to individuals who would otherwise experience financial difficulties in accessing youth work qualifications.

There are no restrictions on who can apply for the bursary however places are limited to a total of 75 across the South East region. Additionally, to ensure funding helps those individuals and organisations that need it most, funding will not be given to organisations who would otherwise be paying for the same training.

Individuals / Organisations can express an interest in applying on our website here: https://nya.org.uk/2019/11/nya-to-launch-new-bursary-fund/

Applications need to be submitted by 10 January 2020. Learners must be available to begin (not complete) training before March 2020.
