Youth Worker – Emergency Department & Social Prescribing

(one each in Winchester / Basingstoke)

We are recruiting for two 30 hour per week ‘Youth Worker – Emergency Department (ED) and Social Prescribing’ roles into Hampshire Hospitals (Winchester and Basingstoke).  The successful applicants will provide direct support to children and young people through both in the emergency department and in the community, by helping the young person to connect with specialist support and other community services through social prescribing. Starting salary of SCP 13 £22,627 (pro rata based on 37hrs FTE) equating to £18.346.22 per annum for a 30hrs week.  Apply by 4pm Monday 26th April 2021.

 

NEW:  Primary Mental Health Worker

An exciting opportunity has opened in our Primary Mental Health project – a partnership between No Limits and CAMHS (Child and adolescent mental health service) to provide an early intervention approach supporting children and young people’s mental health and emotional wellbeing. Based both at No Limits and at CAMHS, interventions will be delivered through No Limits bases, education settings and health care settings. Full-time 37hrs per week, SCP 9 £20,903p.a. Administration Officer

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual with strong administrative and organisational skills. The role will be based within our Head Office Admin team and our Advice centre providing administrative support to No Limits delivery services and counselling.    With a wide range of proven administration experience, you will be highly organised with accurate record keeping and the ability to apply yourself with enthusiasm to a wide range of tasks.     37 hours per week over 5 days which will include one evening per week (8pm finish), Starting at SCP 5 to 8  £19,312 to £20,493. Space 4U is a service for young people aged 11-18 on the Isle of Wight who are experiencing difficulties with their mental health and who need access to instant emotional and practical support. The Youth Worker will work within a team of youth workers and volunteers to facilitate an open access to this safe haven for young people in need of support with their Emotional Health & Wellbeing (EMHW) and mental health. 10 hours per week, to be worked over 3 regular evenings per week (to be agreed based on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday evening sessions, possibly to 10pm Fri/Sat) Starting salary: SCP 9 £20,903 (pro rata based on 37hrs FTE). Youth Worker Lead – Mental Health – Safe Haven North Hants & Farnham (15hrs)

Safe Haven is a service for young people aged 11-18 across Southampton who are experiencing difficulties with their mental health and need access to instant emotional and practical support. The Lead Youth Worker will work within a team of youth workers and volunteers to facilitate an open access to this safe haven for young people in need of support with their Emotional Health & Wellbeing (EHWB) and Mental Health. 15 hours per week, to include days, Saturday morning, 1-3 evenings per working week (currently set as Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings), Starting SCP 11 £21,166 (pro rata based on 37 hours FTE). Apply by 9am Wednesday 21st April 2021.

Safe Haven is a service for young people aged 11-18 across North Hampshire and Farnham who are experiencing difficulties with their mental health and need access to instant emotional and practical support. The Youth Worker will work within a team of youth workers and volunteers to facilitate an open access to this safe haven for young people in need of support with their Emotional Health & Wellbeing (EHWB) and Mental Health. 8 hours per week, to include regular two evenings a week (currently Monday and Thursday) and occasional days and Saturday mornings, Starting at SCP 9 £20,344 (pro rata based on 37 hours FTE). Apply by 9am Wednesday 21st April 2021
