Job Opportunity – Independent Sexual Violence Advocate (ISVA)Co-ordinator
The ISVA Service provides pro-active advocacy support to victims of all ages who have had
an unwanted sexual experience, who may be within or outside of the criminal justice
system. Yellow Door are looking for a highly motivated individual to take lead responsibility
for co-ordinating the effective running of Yellow Door’s ISVA Service.
You will line manage
the team of ISVAs, supporting the team to manage their caseloads in line with Yellow Door
ISVA Quality Standards.
You will manage our triage process and allocate clients effectively
to the team using key skills such as risk assessment and professional judgement.
You will take an innovative approach in the development of ISVA provision and work creatively with
our partner agencies to establish working protocols, improve the flexibility, standards and
outcomes of the ISVA provision.
You will have significant experience of providing advocacy services preferably in the area of domestic and sexual abuse.
You will also have management experience in the development and delivery of services.
Please note as part of this role you will be required to case hold a small number of clients in line with service
Band 6 – Scale Point 23 – 29 inclusive (£27,809 – £34,539)
30 – 35 hours on a permanent contract
