HIWCF Grants Now Available

Dayas Music Scholarship grants of up to £600 are available for individual musicians aged over 18, in Hampshire, Portsmouth and Southampton.  Grants will cover musical tuition costs, particularly if this will benefit a wider group, e.g. choirs or orchestras performing in hospitals, schools or for other community events. Scholarships can cover tuition for instruments, singing, conducting or composition. Closing date 13th March 2020.

Michael Austin Harlick Sports Awards provides grants of up to £1,000 to sport organisations in Hampshire, Portsmouth and Southampton towards the cost of awards that recognise sporting achievements by young people. Grants will help with the purchase of challenge cups, shields, medals and team awards. Closing date 13th March 2020.

 Also, please note that the High Sheriff of Hampshire Community Recognition Awards are now open – Nominations for individuals, volunteers, charities and community groups can now be made for law and order related projects that enhance safety across Hampshire communities. Full details of how to apply can be found on the HIWCF website: www.hiwcf.com/high-sheriff-of-hampshire-announces-launch-of-2018-19-community-awards/  The closing date is 31st January 2020 and successful nominations will be recognised by the High Sheriff at an awards ceremony in Winchester on the evening of 19th March 2020.
