Community Life Survey results

Government’s annual Community Life Survey results have recently been published. The survey of 10,000+ respondents across Britain is managed by DCMS and is used to measure personal and economic well-being.

This year’s findings have revealed a worrying decrease in the proportion of people volunteering at least once a year to the lowest level in six years, and also a decrease in people donating to charity.

The findings also highlight that only a quarter of all respondents (25%) felt able to influence decisions affecting their local area. The full report for the 2018/19 Community Life Survey is available to read online and download here along with a number of themed infographic fact sheets.
