Award in Community Development Training Course
Are you involved in volunteer or paid community development work? This is a chance to gain skills share ideas and experiences with other people and receive a certificate.
The course is suitable both for people who are volunteers or who are just starting out in a community development role, leading to a CPD certificate at Level 2 or even Level 3. The Level 3 is suitable to people with existing experience as a community development worker.
The course will cover: what Community Development is, what its values are, and how to approach working as community development worker/volunteer. Also covered are why people get involved in their community, how to encourage them, and how community groups work. It will also explore social inequality and diversity in communities.
Six Friday sessions on: 2nd, 9th, 16th 23rd March, 11th May and 18th May Session times: 9.45am – 2.45pm.

Volunteers with income less than £12,000 £62
Volunteers with income £12,000 to £18,000 £125
