Below are the Pippa Annual General Minutes from Decembers meeting held at Southampton Voluntary Services.

Duncan Reade, Chair PIPPA Alliance, opened the meeting and thanked everyone
For attending. He introduced Angela White Vice-Chair and Tara Doel, PIPPA Alliance Treasurer.

3. MINUTES OF PREVIOUS AGM
DR explained that as the PIPPA Alliance has been relaunched and the last recorded minutes date back to 2012 these minutes were not relevant or current and would therefore not be reviewed and agreed.
The minutes of the PIPPA Forum meeting on the 5th July 2017 were reviewed and agreed.
Action – Nicci King to provide a report on the Missing People Forum

5. PRESENTATION OF THE PIPPA ALLIANCE ANNUAL REPORT
DR gave a summary of the PIPPA Alliance and its members and how they work together to end Domestic and Sexual Abuse in the city.
DR told the meeting of the developments that have been made by the PIPPA Alliance.
These were:
DR worked with Yellow Door to launch the Culture and Diversity Course
The PIPPA training courses were marketed for 2017.
National links to external organisations within the DSA sector were created
PIPPA Newsletter was launched
PIPPA/ Domestic and Sexual Abuse Forum was launched.
The Service Users Focus group has been launched, this looks at the journey of the service user on what services and advice are available to them.
Various outreach events have been held around the City.
Three Volunteers have been recruited, two in engagement and one administration volunteer. The volunteers have contributed a total of 80 volunteer hours.
The PIPPA helpline is manned at Southampton City council 2.5 days per week and at Yellow Door for 2.5 days per week. The number is now available to both professionals and the public.
Calls to the PIPPA helpline have increased by 50% since 2015 and 50% of calls received are from the public.
DR told the meeting of the training delivered over the year these were
- 1 x half day Identifying and Assessing DVA
- 1 x day Diversity (pilot with IDVAs)
- 4 x Pippa Overview
- 2 x Friday Forums
- 1 x Identifying and Engaging with Perpetrators of Domestic Violence and Abuse
DR showed a photograph of The White Ribbon Campaign 2016 where of the Alliance and the public assembled in Kingsland Square to form a human white ribbon, this year’s event at the Guildhall Square had an attendance of approximately 150 people and received local media coverage.
DR gave a brief outline of the future developments for PIPPA. The PIPPA Webpage is to be relaunched and made more user friendly. Promotional materials are to be reviewed and improved.
6. FINANCIAL REPORT 2017– Tara Doel
TD advised the meeting, that as the PIPPAS forum had been dormant for a while, she had to work the financial figures back to 31st March 2017 based on the information that was available to her.
TD advised attendees that the bank signatories for the Bank Account had finally been updated which had taken some time.
As previously agreed the signatories required on any transactions on the account are any two of the following for all transactions on the account.

All members were given a report of the financial standing as at the 31/03/17, with the closing balance on the bank account showing at £22,385.73

TD informed the meeting of the PIPPA financial situation and gave detailed information on past and future expenditure.
All members were asked to vote in agreement of the expenditure and a unanimous decision was reached.
