DVA Service & Projects Manager

Salary:   £28,485

As a result of recent growth and development we have a great opportunity for an experienced domestic violence and abuse specialist to manage a small, dedicated team and to ensure delivery of a range of projects and programmes.

You will be passionate about empowering women and children exposed to domestic violence and abuse to be safe and to achieve lasting change. You will have the experience and skills to support and nurture staff and volunteers to deliver quality, innovative and inclusive services that are shaped to meet the multiple and complex needs of our service-users. You will manage a small team and, also directly lead a small number of your own projects.


DVA Advice & Programmes Worker

Salary:    £20,661 – unqualified with training and development provided

Up to £23,398 – DVA qualified and experienced

We have re-shaped an existing and now vacant post to reflect our focus on delivering evidence-based psycho-education programmes for adults and children exposed to domestic violence and abuse (DVA). As well as providing 1 to 1 advocacy and on-going support to victims of DVA (below high risk) and holding a small caseload.

 For this post you will either be an advocate or DVA specialist with experience of directly supporting victims and survivors and IDVA or similar qualifications.  Or you have some relevant experience of working with women and/or children exposed to DVA or within a similar context and the aptitude to become an advocate and trainer with further skills training, development and qualifications.
