New year, new bulletin

We’ve assessed the feedback you gave us in the survey a couple of months ago (thank you again to everyone who completed it) and are planning some changes to the funding bulletins for the new year.  We’ll still be producing the monthly bulletins, with the same information, but they’re going to look at bit different and the way we send them out will be different.

You can find the full details of the changes here.  It also includes a report on the survey results.  If you have any queries about the changes now or in the future we’re still here to help.  Just email us at grants@southampton.gov.uk

Caring Communities Grant – information session

I sent out the information about this new grant last week and you’ll find it in this month’s bulletin as well.  I just wanted to remind you that we are holding information sessions about the grant on Wednesday 3 January at the Civic Centre.  Each session lasts for 1 hour and there are two timeslots to choose from: 4pm or 5:30pm.  There will be a short presentation and then a chance to chat about the grant in small groups or 1:1.  Full details about the grant and a link to the EventBrite page can be found on our website: http://www.southampton.gov.uk/people-places/grants-funding/caring-communities-grant.aspx

Message from Big Lottery Fund about changes to their Reaching Communities funding programme

The Big Lottery Fund are changing the application process for Reaching Communities, to make it easier for groups and communities to apply for National Lottery funding.  In order to do this, there will be a temporary pause on the submission of Reaching Communities applications between Monday 15 January and Monday 2 April 2018. All applications received before 15 January 2018 will be processed in the existing manner.
