This week marked the launch of Southampton Healthy Living, a new and innovative partnership of health, voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations. Its aim is to enable individuals, families and communities to develop more control over their lifestyle by helping to create communities where healthy behaviour is the norm. Visit our website to discover more about the launch and get support to help you lose weight, be more active, drink less and be smoke free. SVS will be supporting people and community groups to get involved through helping voluntary groups develop and deliver community based initiatives to meet the targets including encouraging volunteer health champions and widening participation. There is also a community initiative funding pot that SVS will help groups be ready to access.
