Health Improvement Training

Southampton Healthy Living are offering free Health Improvement Training for Southampton staff, volunteers, students and community workers (Please find attached our new programme for 2017-2018).

 

The objectives of our training is to:

 

  • Train delegates to support clients, patients and service users to improve their health
  • Help develop skills to be able to engage with and empower clients, patients or service users to set goals around healthy lifestyles
  • Enable delegates to offer support on healthy lifestyles, and to be able to use evidence-based, effective methods of working with Southampton residents to improve their health
  • Provide opportunities to network with other professionals and reflect on current practices

 

Southampton Healthy Living can provide HIT Training that is tailored to the needs of staff.  Training can be also offered at team meetings and on a bespoke basis if required (maximum 10 delegates)  All training on the programme will take place at the Royal South Hants Hospital.
