Umbrella Arts Festival – A health and Well-being Festival
March 23 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pmFree
Come and joins us as we will be filling the NST City theatre in Southampton’s Guildhall Square with a health and well-being festival. Umbrella Arts includes music, poetry, pandas, art workshops, yoga, creative activities and more.
The purpose of the festival is to highlight some of the amazing health-themed arts and conversation activity in Southampton. See the Umbrella Arts Festival website for more information.
There will be a health cafés during the day, with themed conversations, open to all:
- 10am Brains and Minds
- 11.30am Cancer café
- 1pm Living with Long Term Conditions
- 2.40pm Health Inequalities
We will also have a community wall, where everyone can add details of what else is in the city that helps us with our health. We will be talking about the NHS Long Term Plan, and asking for feedback on how local health plans should evolve to meet needs. This feedback will be collated and Healthwatch Southampton will share this with local NHS commissioners and services.
Please join us. Visit our website for more information
Please share news of this via your friends, colleagues and networks. We have a Facebook event, and twitter #UmbrellaFest.
Together, let’s put arts and health on the map. We hope to do more of this in the future, so please join the Southampton Arts in Health network to keep updated.
