Who should attend?
Professionals from all agencies who contribute to child protection enquiries, those who work with families experiencing complex issues, and/or anyone who has attended a Level 2/3 safeguarding course or has equivalent experience. Please check with your manager if unsure.
What is covered in the training?
There are two days of training available and you can choose which day is best for you. The training outline for each day is below. If you wish and your manager agrees, you can attend both days (although there is some overlap in the morning of each).
The training is free of charge and funded by the LSCB.

Please note that demand is often high and for this reason the LSCB require 10 working days’ notice of cancellations in order to offer the place to another candidate.
