Southampton Connect is the successor body to the Southampton Partnership which it replaced from 1st April 2011. It is a new way for how we will work together across the city, by building upon existing networks and relationships. By focussing on what matters most for Southampton, it is flexible, inclusive and less bureaucratic approach. Currently chaired by the Council’s chief executive, Connect has senior level representation from 13 key agencies or umbrella representative organisations covering the private, public and voluntary sectors. Southampton Connect is unique in that it is a locally developed multi-agency response to working collaboratively in thse challenging and recessionary times.
