Bite Sized Breakfast Seminars

Bite sized seminars
A series of breakfast seminars for voluntary organisations in Southampton. Each seminar aims to inform, inspire and energise staff to take forward the valuable work of their organisation in the midst of competing stresses and demands.

  • £25 to voluntary organisations who are not SVS members
  • £50 to statutory organisations

Organising and running an event outside of your box this training will teach you:

  • How to do it
  • Why doing something new pays off
  • Collaborating with other fundraisers
  • Put the ‘fun back into fundraising- and increase community activity

Marketing Projects for Young People in the Arts, Youth and Cultural Sectors

Fee: £75

22nd February 2012, 9.45 am- 4 pm, Nuffield Theatre, Southampton

This one-day course explores ways to develop effective marketing techniques for your youth arts project. The session offers practical examples and structures for planning your marketing strategy, including drawing up an action plan, collating resources, design and print, using the new and social media and managing public relations with the local community. This course also looks at the exit strategy of ending a youth arts project by celebrating its completion and bringing it to a successful close. A practical and informative training session aimed at filling you with the confidence, skills and knowledge needed to market and celebrate your project successfully.
