Quality Standards

The need for voluntary sector agencies to evidence the quality of their service is on the increase, as more organisations become commissioned services, Southampton Voluntary Services (SVS) understands this and is able to provide information, support or signposting on the different Quality Standards.
Southampton Voluntary Services (SVS) has achieved various quality standards, these include the Investors in People (IIP), Volunteering England (VE), National Association of Voluntary & Community Action (NAVCA) and Practical Quality Assurance System for Small Organisation (PQASSO) and Positive about disabled people accreditation.

What is a Quality Standard?
Quality standards are a mark or standard of service, it is evidence the quality you provide meets the minimum standards. You can share this with clients, members, funders, local authorities and service users.

Why Choose a Quality Standard?
Choosing the right quality standard scheme can strengthen your organisation’s delivery, by raising the standards of the work and ensuring the work is completed consistently. This will improve your performance and demonstrate the difference being achieved.
