Southampton Voluntary Services produce one newsletter; the SVS Mailing which we only send out to members of SVS 6 times a year. 


The SVS Mailing is targeted at SVS Members who are Community & Voluntary groups/organisations and statutory organisations.  Each membership organisation of SVS, receives one paper copy FREE of charge.  The Mailing goes out to a circulation of 670 and contains News about SVS, Community & Voluntary Sector News, Volunteering News, Learning News, Local News, General Not for Profit News, Training Opportunities, Funding News, Regional News, Accountancy News, Human Resources News, Information Technology News and details of Multi Faith Festivals.  Since we have merged the SVS Briefing into the SVS Mailing the mailing now includes local and easy to apply for funding, general funding information and short notice articles and events.

FREE Publicity
If you are a member of SVS and you would like to publicise an event, a newsworthy story about your organisation, in need of something or have something to sell, you can advertise (subject to available space) for FREE in our Newsletter.  If you would like to publicise something, please email it to: information@southamptonvs.org.uk

Additional Copies
If any membership organisation of SVS would like an additional paper copy of our newsletter, then we have a £20 per annum charge for each additional copy wanted.  All newsletters are placed onto our website, to view FREE of charge for members and non members. 

Leaflet Inserts
If you would like to include a leaflet insert with the SVS Mailing, (provided it is suitable for our readership) we charge a £50 fee to cover postage and administrative time provided you deliver the printed leaflets to us.  If you require us to duplicate your leaflet, we charge 5 pence per A4 side.  As the circulation is always changing contact us for more details.
