Our Eight Key Aims

SVS’ main activity is supporting local voluntary and community organisations in Southampton.  This is provided through the Voluntary Sector Support Team, who help organisations with their developmental needs as well as acting as representatives on a wider scale on issues affecting the voluntary sector.

SVS also provides voluntary groups & organisations in Southampton with independent support and a voice.  What this can mean for a group is information on funding, charity law, working with committees, volunteers, publicity, in fact for any aspect of voluntary or community work we are here to offer advice and guidance.
