Job Opportunity for Volunteer Co-ordinator
Hampshire County Council’s Countryside Service has successfully secured funding from Heritage Lottery and BIG Lottery to discover and restore Staunton Country Park’s Regency heritage. The project will see the Grade II registered landscape restored to reflect its former glory and a new visitor centre and interpretation hub in the coach house. It will also deliver activities, events, learning opportunities and training along with increased volunteer engagement.
We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated individual to recruit, manage and support up to 100 volunteers who will be involved in a variety of roles within the park including visitor services, historical research, events and practical horticulture we need someone who can inspire people to enjoy our project and get actively involved. You’ll explore new ways to connect with people who already enjoy our park while reaching out to new audiences in the local community and beyond.
