Job Opportunity for Community Engagement Officer
Hampshire County Council’s Countryside Service has successfully secured funding from Heritage Lottery and BIG Lottery to discover and restore Staunton Country Park’s Regency heritage. The project will see the Grade II registered landscape restored to reflect its former glory and a new visitor centre and interpretation hub in the coach house. It will also deliver activities, events, learning opportunities and training along with increased volunteer engagement.
We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated individual to lead on the community engagement elements of the project. In this role you will explore new ways of engaging with those who already visit and enjoy the park as well as developing new audiences to increase the number and diversity of people that benefit from this fantastic resource.
