Southampton Shopmobility provides daily hire of mobility scooters, powerchairs and manual wheelchairs to support people with limited mobility in accessing the city centre with confidence and ease.

Booking in advance is recommended – while we do accept walk-ins, we can’t always guarantee equipment will be available.

- Scooters & Powerchairs: £10 per day
- Manual Wheelchairs: £8 per day
First-time users
To register, please bring two forms of ID:
- One with proof of address (e.g., utility bill, hospital letter)
- One photo ID (e.g., driving licence, passport)
If providing ID is a problem, please contact us to discuss alternatives.
Please note:
- Scooters are for Southampton City Centre use only – our team can explain the boundaries.
- We are unable to offer hire onboard cruise ships.
